Another side of her!

Christopher Pike's: The Graduation

Sara seems so sweet and innocent. I've read other wise. Her hormones are raging. For there senior class activity they are having a boat trip on the night of class day. Captain's orders were to have passenger suites locked and kept off limits. She didn't quite like that idea. She talked the captain into letting them use some of the rooms. Sara is a virgin and she wants the night to be special. This is her last year in school and she plans to be with that special person."she wanted more that a roll of hay" She wanted something to spark in her life. This was interesting to see this side of Sara. First reading this book I would've never even guessed she was a virgin to begin with, I don't know why though. Maybe because half of my high school population aren't virgins anymore. This question goes out to older people....In your high school were their many virgins in school?

Jessica's Dream

Christopher Pike's: The graduation

Ms. Jessica Hart always thought of winning never losing. She expected high marks,be nominated home coming queen as well as get excepted to Sanford and fall in love with a cute boy. None of these things has happen to her, not one. Her average is a c+ and her class rank was in the mid-two hundreds out of 464. That horrible. Her dad has held back her application for Stanford because he is very disappointed in her. Good old Bill as they make call him is the guy she kind of likes. But he's not really considered a boyfriend they went out about three times. THAT'S WACK!!!! Well I have someone in my life kind of like this. My cousin had high expectations of her self and really none of them came true. She wanted to get real high grades, go to school in Charlotte, north Carolina and have a boyfriend to always be by her side and to love a cherish her. Instead she ended up going to ECC and she has a different boyfriend every month (really!!). That's crazy how this character is like a split image of her. Do you know any one like Jessica or my cousin??

Just like the high school days! The graduation by christopher pike Pg.10-22

The Graduation by Christopher Pike

Pgs. 10-22

The characters in this book remind me of high school days of the present. Graduation is now on it's way here, class day right around the corner. It's time to hear those valedictorian speeches, give out awards and look at slide shows full of memories. Sara has passed out yearbooks and they are so ready to be filled with signatures. The signatures that will remind you of that person forever. These yearbook signatures tell so much about the characters in the book. A guy name bubba wrote a whole paragraph about how he wanted to make passionate love to sara. Sara hated him he's not a sweet guy at all. He's more of a pervert. Bubba is the type of guy that will try to trick you to kiss him or something like that. The type of guy who would pay you to go out with him. Say little sweet things or sweet smart comments in front of people.I know everyone has had someone like bubba before. If so how have you dealt with this situation??

Put Yourself In The Setting

Whisper Of Death, Christopher Pike

Pages50-68

My book was written in the late 1960's because the scene, the things around it. Like foe example the lack of technology they have and some of the things they do. I believe people will read this book 10 15 years from now because of how great it is. It doesn't start off that good but as you continue to read it gets more and more interesting. I would take this book as aproduct of it's time. It tell you what was happening back then and how couples were spentinng time together. This book could as be written to morden times. The reason I think this is because I can & other people can relate to the event that occur between the couple, the town, hangout spots and something bad happening. Overall this book by far is good to read I would recommend it for young people in love to read. Now put your in that postion and how would you react in that place? I am responsing to the third bullet in settings.

If this was you what woud you do?

The Setting Of My Book

Whisper Of Death, Christopher Pike

pages: 29-47

The setting in the book reflects the entire story. The setting makes the book. It takes place in a little town outside of Texas somewhere and there is a population size of like 250 and everybody knows everybody. What makes the setting so unique is how everything in the story falls in to part with the setting as each scene. For example when they went to a special place on the mountain it was just them nobody else which made the scene so real as if you were there in place of everybody. It makes you relate to things happen in the story. Without the setting the story would be dull and boring just overall not interesting. Every spot and every place the book takes you brings it to life . I am responseing to the first bullet in setting.

How do you feel about the setting ?

The First Conflict Of My Book

Whisper Of Death , Christopher Pike
1-32

As I read I came across my first conflict in my book. The characters Pepper & rox are a young couple in love and are experienceing some problems. Rox thinks she is falling in love to fast and is not sure what to do. I think they will face many more conflicts as the story progesses. The characters seem angry all the time and only happy when they are together which is good. I believe this will affect them having more problems in the future. I want to know next if they will continue to have issues. But i think they will make it though. They way rox acts thoughtout the story so far. Pepper is more of a layed back type guy so i don't believe there will be problems from him. The suspens is killing me. I'm dying to know whats going to happen next. I am responsing to the first bullet in conflict

What do you think will happen next?
